Cool cherry cream....

What a day! (As if my weekend wasn't enough!) I had to be at the body shop first thing this morning and I left them my 3-row, 8-passenger Ford Explorer and got a flippin' Chevy Cobalt. Huh? I can't even fit both of my car seats in the back of the coupe... I called the insurance and the woman was a doll and she is going to upgrade me so that I can get a real car tomorrow or Wednesday. Because *my* car won't be ready until MAYBE Friday, but more likely Monday. Ack!!

Despite the poor start to my day, work was good (and far away from the whining and ill (who are totally all better, and just the whining is left)) and I got a lot done. One of my APs is celebrating Beatles week by wearing a unique tie each day - each one representing a different Beatles song. Today was "We Can Work it Out" - so of course it's been stuck in my head. But, when I was working on this card tonight a different made itself home in my head. Doesn't this card make you think of "Savoy Truffle?"

It's based on the sketch by Jami Sibley and I like the way it turned out. I had never been to her blog before, so it was nice to see some new styles.

There is a TON of white sparkly Sugar Glitter on the ice cream and the dish is thickly coated in Crystal Effects - I wish you could see it in person! :) I'm doing pretty good with the sketch challenge! I've done 5, now, and so I only have 4 left. I'll post the 5th one tomorrow. Right now I've got to get to bed!!

Such a pretty card! I had to LOL at your story... I can only imagine what that must've been like to be given a super small car compared to your SUV. :) Thank goodness for upgrades!
