Fun with leftovers

When I was planning for my jacob's ladder album, I printed out a lot of pictures - I'm not really one to use scrap maps or sketches. I'm a scrap-as-I-go kind of girl and so sometimes I end up with more pictures than I use in my album (more of a problem with little specialty albums, not my big books). So, to use those inked, matted, and stamped photos I made a little 8.5 x 11 page for my sister (the preggo cutie in the pics!). She doesn't really scrapbook, but she is planning to put this in a frame and hang it up in her house.

I try to use my leftover paper and such as much as I can. I have a big box for card stock scraps and another box for designer paper scraps. How do you store your leftovers? What is the smallest size paper scrap you will keep? I really do try to throw anything smaller than 3x3 away, but some how I manage to keep a ton of bits and pieces (just in case!!). Well, at least my friends who come over to my house to play always have plenty of paper to use! :)

I love all of your work. It was great getting to meet you at A Scrap Affair last week. I look forward to cropping with you. Please join us on a Friday evening.

I store my scraps in 12x12 page protectors. I have one for each major color. Each page protector has a white sheet in it. On the front side I store solid color and on the back side of the white paper I store patterned paper that is the same color. Oh, I keep too many scraps but I do go through them periodically and throw away the little bits.
